I am a writer, with climate anxiety and hay fever, born in Scotland, now living in Dorset. Sometimes I also write inside birthday cards – and once upon a time I wrote a lot on this blog, 24 Dilemmas.
I don’t have as much time to blog as I used to, because in the last few years I have discovered and now spend a lot of time thinking about my own mortality, trying to learn all the different types of bird, and taste-testing fig rolls. And now I write for a living and thanks to a little thing called adulthood I now prioritise the writing that pays me over the writing that doesn’t. Plus, you know, maybe I learned a shred of dignity after oversharing on the internet for my twenties. Who knows.
For more info on me or to contact me, it’s best to go via my agent, Frances, here.
24 Dilemmas is (was) like a unique version of the magic faraway tree; one very haphazard narrative with many branches of adventure, catastrophe and uncertain endings. Mostly inspired by and in celebration of millennial anxiety and how much I hated (and still do hate) drying my hair. I hope you enjoy it.
